Over the Christmas break, I installed an addon called “AchievementSnap,” an addon that would take a screenshot every time I received an achievement! I figured this would be a great way to catalog my adventures through Azeroth and I was right. Of course, I forgot to add it right before I got my “Merrymaker” achievement, but that’s a-okay.
I looked at these screenshots and wanted to share them with you guys, but that gave me a great idea – why not share these achievements and the best way to complete them!? Brilliant! So let’s get into it.
Oh, and clicking on each picture takes you to a full-screen shot of everything that was going on when it happened, in case you’re interested.
Barber shops can be found in Stormwind, Ironforge, Ogrimmar, Undercity, Netherstorm (Area 52 and Cosmowrench) and Dalaran. Get any haircut, facial detail change or hair color change and voila! Achievement achieved.
Check out the rest of my recent achievements (and tips to get them) under the cut…
To get this achievement, you start off by doing quests for an imprisoned Ice Troll, Drakuru. He can be found in Granite Springs, in a cage, with the quest “Truce?” From here he takes you all over the zone and finally into Drak’Tharon, where a sudden revelation changes everything. I don’t want to ruin it, but it’s a King of a betrayal. Hint.
That’s only one half of the achievement, the other asks you to do quests in Zul’Drak to finish off Drakuru’s storyline. The Zul’Drak quests for this achievement starts off a drop, surprising. You find a choker from one of the undead trolls near the Ebon Watch in Eastern Zul’Drak. These quests are complicated and exciting, asking you to go behind enemy lines to figure out what the Lich King’s newest minion is trying to accomplish. After defeating the boss and completing “Betrayal,” you receive this achievement as proof of completion.
If you’re a completist, like me, then this achievement won’t be difficult at all. You must complete 100 quests in the zone to get this, and if you just do every quest available, that should be pretty easy. Don’t forget to start the quest chain off the aforementioned choker, or you’ll miss a whole slew of quests. Otherwise, just follow directions when you’re sent to new locations!
Another easy enough achievement to complete. All you gotta do is finish the dungeon of GunDrak, slaying all four bosses: Slad’ran, Moorabi, Bloodstone Annihilator and Gal’darah. No real problems, this dungeon took us 45 minutes to complete.
And that’s it for this entry! The more achievements I rack up, the more I can share how to complete them.
